About the Client:

The Rock Island County Metropolitan Mass Transit District, more commonly known as MetroLINK, provides transportation services to the Quad Cities communities of Moline, Rock Island, East Moline, Silvis, Milan, Carbon Cliff, Hampton, and Colona. Through the seasonal Channel Cat Water Taxi Service, MetroLINK in partnership with HMS Ferries, provides transportation across the Mississippi River to four different landings, including two stops in Moline, one in Bettendorf, IA and a fourth in Davenport, IA.

Scope of Service:

The Channel Cat Water Taxi Service are passenger only vessels. The vessels operate seven days a week from Memorial Day until Labor Day, and weekends only through mid-October. The open-air boats carry passengers across the Mississippi River to four different landings. HMS Ferries also operates various charter services onboard, as directed by MetroLINK, including River Action group tours, each Tuesday and Thursday throughout July and August.
