About the Client:

Military Sealift Command operates approximately 110 noncombatant, civilian-crewed ships that replenish U.S. Navy ships, conduct specialized missions, strategically preposition combat cargo at sea around the world and move military cargo and supplies used by deployed U.S. forces and coalition partners.

Scope of Service:

For this contract, Seaward Services, Inc. (SSI) provides manpower, expertise and care-taking crews to conduct ship-checks, develop design modification specifications, execute modifications, test the modified ship to the government’s satisfaction and transit the modified ship to the mission area. In addition, SSI is also responsible for operations consisting of in-port time on an inactive ship with a care-taking crew.
